Many thanks for helping with homecoming

To the Editor:

I would like to take this time to thank everyone for their help in our 2012 homecoming celebration.

I would like to say a personal thank you to Andy Olson, South Fork’s athletic director. You are doing a great job.

Thanks to my board Tina B., Gina P., and D’Ann T. You ladies make my job so much easier. Thank you to Corby, Cara and Ruthie for helping me with the sweatshirt sales.

Valerie Pogue, the buyer for the snack shack, did an awesome job - thank you. Lisa Grey and your staff - thank you. Missy Mendes, thank you for all your help. To every parent that worked the snack shack or baked you are so appreciated.

Garberville Dairy, Redway Shop Smart, Humboldt Hotties, Garberville Sign Company and Lotus Mountain Printing, you continue to impress me with all your support.

Thank you to my husband, David, who is always right there doing whatever I ask of him. Thank you to our 2012 fall coaches - Lisa, Ann, Andy, Susan, and Travis. Gina M., thank you for all you have done all year long and at homecoming. To every business that let us paint up your windows, town looked very much in the spirit of homecoming.

Finally, I have been attending South Fork’s homecoming since I was in high school, and I have to say our community was so amazing this year. The amount of people that attended was amazing. The support was incredible. I cannot say enough. Thank you, thank you. You all made it a very special homecoming for some very great athletes and students.
