Obama administration secretly targets U.S. citizens

To the Editor:

The mainstream media will deny tactics by the Obama administration that includes arrest and execution of our citizens without due process of law. However, Section 1021 of the National Defense Authorization Act, signed into law December 31, 2011 by President Obama, allows the arrest and imprisonment of U.S. citizens by our armed forces. Section 1021 is deliberately vague and can be read to authorize detention for exercising our rights that are protected by the First Amendment.

The Obama administration maintains it has the authority to secretly target U.S. citizens for execution without even charging them with a crime. A speech by Attorney General Eric Holder at Northwestern University on March 5, 2012 cements Obama’s legacy as the president who pioneered secretive, charge-less executions. The arrested citizen does not have to be notified of the accusations thus affording him or her an opportunity to respond.

The ACLU responded, "Few things are as dangerous to American liberty as the proposition that our government should be able to kill our citizens anywhere in the world on the basis of legal standards and evidence that are never submitted to a court, either before or after the fact."

The next item on the Obama agenda is to disarm Americans, which he will do with the convenient help of the United Nations. The UN under the guise of a proposed global "Small Arms Treaty" that is premised to fight "terrorism," "insurgency," and "international crime syndicates" will also target our Constitutional right for law-abiding citizens to own and bear arms.

It will create an international gun registry, clearly setting the stage for full-scale gun confiscation. Some night in the future at 2 a.m. your front door will be kicked in by the UN Blue Helmets to do their job. Attorney General Kamala Harris and State Senator Leland Yee are supporting President Obama to confiscate our firearms thus enslaving us to the UN or worse.
