Trinity County serves six search warrants; 14 arrested

Over a two-day period during the week of Sept. 18, officers with the Trinity County Sheriff's Office, NSMIT, and the Redding DEA office served six search warrants in the county.

Over the course of the two-day investigation, officers arrested 14 people on various charges including cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of a controlled substance, child endangerment, felon in possession of a firearm, and felon in possession of ammunition.

Items seized from the locations included 406 growing marijuana plants, over 150 pounds of processed marijuana, $180,000 of U.S. currency, peyote, two firearms, and a honey oil lab. Due to ongoing investigations, the locations and names of the subjects arrested were not released as of Friday, Sept. 21.
