CDs and paintings offered this Friday at Jacob Garber Square

Six Rivers Planned Parenthood (SRPP) and Clergy for Choice will have a table in front of Jacob Garber Square on Friday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The groups will be registering people to vote and giving out information about Planned Parenthood and Clergy for Choice.

Donors to SRPP may receive copies of Sarah Scher’s latest CD recorded live at Persimmons on her dad’s birthday with guitar accompanist, Michael Owens. Sarah (daughter of Les and Carol Scher) is a graduate of South Fork High School and her newest CD features jazzy renderings of many hits such as Orange Colored Sky and Human Nature. Her CDs are also available at Persimmons for a donation to SRPP.

They will also offer another chance to win your choice of one of the remaining late Tedda Smith’s paintings along with passes to the Garberville Theatre.

Organizers ask everyone to continue supporting Six Rivers Planned Parenthood which provides access to birth control, HIV and other STD testing, cancer screenings, and a full range of reproductive health for men and women in Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties. SRPP cares no matter what.
