South Fork’s girls’ soccer team lost 5-0 to Arcata and tied Ferndale 1-1 last week, bringing their record to 5-9-2 on the season, 4-7-2 in league and, most importantly, 4-2-1 against small schools. The small school record will earn them an at-large berth in the North Coast Section Championship tournament to be seeded this Sunday after league play wraps up on Wednesday.
