A record 75 two-person teams competed in the event, which took place June 19 and 20. The Southern Humboldt Masters is Redwood Empire’s biggest annual men’s club event of the year. It ranks in the top three for the number of golfers competing in men’s tournaments in Humboldt County each year.
”We were very happy with the record turnout of 150 golfers playing in the Masters,” said REG&CC’s head pro Greg Senestraro. “The course was in excellent shape and the greens running fast and true due to the work of course superintendent Jeff Arneson and his crew.”
