Dragon Heart Tang Soo Do’s owner and instructor, Becky Rupp, was recently notified of her promotion to Master rank. The World Tang Soo Do Association holds a Masters Clinic annually in March at the Northwestern University of Alabama. Five years after attaining Sam Dan, 3rd degree, you are eligible to be invited to the clinic by Grandmaster Jae C. Shin. There is a minimum two years of testing for 4th degree black belt, Sah Dan. If you are a school owner you are eligible to be invited to test for 4th degree Master’s rank at the next year’s clinic. These clinics are rigorous four-day training and testing events with participants from around the world. Master Rupp is awaiting her belt presentation from Grandmaster Shin.
