Caltrans has advised the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Garberville Area office that a full freeway closure of U.S. Highway 101, north of Redway (mile post marker 16.4) will be in effect on Thursday, October 25th between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. while maintenance crews work on a slide area.

The estimated duration of the closure is 20-25 minutes. The CHP advises motorists to plan ahead and avoid driving this route during the closure. The CHP will be on-scene to provide traffic control.
