EUREKA, Calif. -- Bayshore Mall, located at 3300 Broadway in Eureka, Calif., announced today that it will host a back-to-school fashion show in front of Victoria's Secret on Saturday, Aug. 11 between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. The event will feature the latest boys and girls fashion styles from Walmart, which opened at Bayshore Mall this past June, Sears, maurices, PacSun, Journey's, Famous Footwear and other major retailers. Admission is free and families are encouraged to attend.

During the event, Walmart will feature a "Demo Dorm Room" in the common area where shoppers can view and try on the retailer's hottest back-to-school brands. A Walmart representative will be on site to answer questions and hand out literature to help consumers save while they shop.

"We feel this event is a great opportunity to introduce consumers in the North Coast region to the latest, affordable back-to-school fashion styles for boys and girls," said Joe Albanese, General Manager of Bayshore Mall. "Attendees will be able to view firsthand the latest trends, styles and accessories while enjoying a family-friendly atmosphere and a number of fun activities. We look forward to hosting an exciting, fashion inspired event as local families gear up for school this fall."

Attendees will be rewarded a $10 gift card when they spend $100 or more at any Bayshore Mall retailer during the three-hour event. While supplies last, shoppers can simply show their receipts at the designated table to receive their gift card. Attractions during the event include:

Back to School Fashion Pictures - Guests can take their own fashion inspired photos, and are encouraged to post them on Bayshore Mall's Facebook page and vote for their favorites

Food and Drink Samples - Attendees can try samples from Burger King, Mrs. Fields, and Pepsi's new Pepsi Next flavors, Paradise Mango and Cherry Vanilla
