On June 14, at 10 p.m., the Humboldt County Sheriffs office was notified of a possible missing person - overdue motorist, Katherine Gillham. The missing person left Grants Pass, Oregon on June 11 at approximately 2 a.m. and failed to make it home. Family members assumed she had made it home to Big Lagoon, however due to a communication breakdown, did not realize she was missing until June 14, when they reported her missing. She was driving a gray 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor SUV California license # 6UXE841. She is believed to have traveled State Route 199 from Grants Pass, Oregon to U.S. 101 to Big Lagoon in Humboldt County.
Katherine Gillham is a 40 year old Native American female, 5’-4’ tall, 200 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.
