1. GRACIE: Lovely, gracious older lady who is pretty, well-mannered and asks only for a place to spend her retirement years in comfort and with good care and lots of pets and companionship. She’s a nice-sized lab/dutch shepherd mix and her markings are very interesting and beautiful. She is mellow, friendly and likely is house-trained. Even though she’s been abandoned, she’s still plucky and happy and she’s ready to hang her hat wherever she will be loved and treated well.
2. HOBIE: Very shy older pup who has had a rough life so far; very heartbreaking. He has not had anything resembling proper care and is ready to find a human with a huge heart who will give him the life he deserves. He has had a long-term untreated flea bite allergy that is on the mend. He’s a nice boy, looking for someone he can trust so he can be a happy boy. A quieter home needed for this hound mix with a golden and white short coat; all he needs is love and devotion.
3. ADOPT HAPPY, PLAYFUL SALTY. This is one handsome, happy boy and he’s ready to find his forever home. He loves to play and gets along with everyone he meets and loves to play with other dogs. He is very responsive to loving training and is eager to please; he loves to cuddle and is very polite about letting you know what he wants. He is about a year old, a red-gold All-American, who is a gem! In local foster care, where he is admired and adored, he will be adopted through Bones Pet Rescue. To meet him, call Stacie at 707-633-6106 or Jim at 707-839-9692.
4. MELLOW, GENTLE YOUNG LADY KITTIES: Barbie, Hope, Jasmine (not pictured). Great “people” kitties, these young ladies are affectionate and love attention. Barbie is a strikingly patterned calico girl with medium-long fur who is very outgoing. Hope, a pretty brown tabby short-hair, is a bit more demure; she politely waits for a signal to share her loving. Jasmine, a recent mom, is a friendly “pastel” tortie short-hair. All three are about a year old and eager to find a new forever home where they can count on good care and loyal devotion.
5. HANSEL: Just a kid only about four months old, with a much brighter future, now that he’s wound up here at the Shelter. Someone abandoned him and his sister Gretel (just adopted), and this peppy, adorable boy is ready to find a family that wants him for who he is and will give him loving guidance as he grows up. Like all pups, he needs to have patient parents who help him learn to be a gentleman with positive reinforcement and will give him lots of companionship, love and play.
