Deputies conducting a probation search in Covelo found approximately 200 pounds of processed marijuana.

According to the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Department, deputies went to a residence on Hill Road in Covelo on the afternoon of December 3 and found the marijuana in their search of the building. Most of the marijuana was already packed in one pound bags. The residents of the house, 45-year old Sandra Chaplin and her son, 22-year old Joshua Cetto, were both arrested on an out-of-state warrant for a sexual offense and for parole violation. They were both booked into the Mendocino County Jail.
