Mateel Artists Co-op is having a raffle to support their scholarship fund, which is awarded each year to a worthy, local high school graduate who is pursuing an education in art. They will be raffling two original pieces of art - a photo, "Pele," by Arleen Olson, and a watercolor, "Pink Dogs #1," by the late Delilah Cooper (shown here). They also will have on display a second piece of Delilah’s, "Pink Dogs #2," available for silent auction bids. The raffle drawing will be held, and auction winner announced, at Mateel Gallery, on Friday, Sept. 5, during Arts Alive! Tickets are $3 each, and will be available all summer at Mateel Gallery.
