Their children will host the celebration. Their children are Deborah E. Bushnell of Arcata, Jeff and Martha Peterson of Rescue, Robert and Laura Lameris of Shelter Cove, George and Dottie Bushnell of Phillipsville, David and Michelle Smith/Bushnell of Blocksburg, and Mary Bushnell of Lincoln.
They have 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Don E. Bushnell and Helen V. Keesee were married on July 1, 1953 in Eugene, Oregon. They made their first home in Eureka and then moved to Redway in 1957.
Together, they established Bushnell Survey and Timber Service.
Don and Helen, both retired, enjoy spending time with their family. Don loves to go to Blocksburg and do his gardening, and work in his blueberry garden.
