The Garberville Civic Club met on April 21 with invited guests. They came to receive their donation awards from the Civic Club. President Blanche Field presented the donations to Linda Brodersen for the Southern Humboldt Schools Foundation, Mary Balletta for WISH, Jean Heritage for Heart of the Redwoods Hospice, and Jean McKaye (standing in for Mish Lewis) for the Healy Senior Center and the Meals on Wheels program.

Guests and members enjoyed a very nice lunch hosted by Beryl Peterson, Mary Barth, and Blanche Field.

The Civic Club is pleased to be able to give two scholarships to graduation high school seniors this year - in past years we have given one. Thanks to our community for the support at our sales.

A business meeting was scheduled for Monday, May 5. Anyone interested in the workings of the Club is welcome to attend meetings.
