Soroptimist International of the Redwoods bingo fundraiser will take place at 6 p.m. at the Healy Senior Center in Redway. The buy-in is $20 for 10 games, with additional cards available for $1. Bingo dabbers are available for free. Snacks are also provided. There will be plenty of prizes and a grand cash prize.

 The Redcrest Volunteer Fire Department is having their fifth annual pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Redcrest Grange in Redcrest. There will be pancakes, eggs, bacon, ham, coffee and orange juice at the cost of $10 per person.

EZ Money, formerly Spring Canyon, at a celebration party for St. Patrick's Day at the Riverwood Inn in Phillipsville from 8 to 11 p.m.

Casterlin School will be hosting their annual dinner and auction fundraiser from 4 to 7 p.m. at the school and all are welcome. This fundraiser goes to support the volunteer group, Friends of Casterlin School, who work hard to provide funding for music and aikido programs, field trips, extra-curricular activities, as well as raising funds to pay their third teacher.  Southern Humboldt Schools Foundation (SOS) will be hosting a St Patrick's Day Dinner at Redway School from 5 to 8 p.m. Children/seniors dinner will be $8 and adults for $12. Take-out dinners will be available. Various students will be performing throughout the evening. All proceeds benefit SOS to keep performing arts alive in our schools.
