Back by popular demand, comedian Conor Kellicutt will perform at Mateel’s Comedy Cabaret at the Mateel Community Center in Redway this coming Saturday, Feb. 8.

A popular staple of the San Francisco comedy scene since the early ‘90s when he made his debut at San Francisco’s Holy City Zoo, Kellicut has gained a following for his act that is light yet biting. He has appeared with greats such as Brian Reagan, Bill Burr, Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, Dana Gould and Dave Chappelle. Kellicutt has what it takes to keep audiences in stitches.

Opening for Kellicutt will be another up and coming San Francisco comedian, Matt Gubser. "Smart. Dry. Thoughtful. Challenging. Sexy".... These are just a small sample of the things Gubser has paid people to say about him. True, the man seriously has no shame, but with his mellow personality and razor sharp wit, Grubser’s comedy relentlessly challenges a full spectrum of social conventions including politics, organized religion, penis jokes, issues of all shapes and sizes, and he recounts the absurdities of his experiences parenting, dating and aging.

Doors for the show open at 8 p.m., with comedy at 8:30 p.m. Beer, wine and snacks will be available for purchase. Admission is $10 at the door.
