The Mateel Community Center in Redway is accepting artist registrations now for the 5th annual Artists of the Emerald Coast event that will happen on Saturday, April 27 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. This art show will feature the works of up to 30 seasoned artists of the North Coast and for the second time up to 30 local student artists from the Mateel’s annual spring arts collective program for aspiring young artists and musicians.

The event is also a wine tasting with samples provided by top Southern Humboldt vintners, Briceland, Elk Prairie and Whitethorn vineyards. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres are included.

Artists interested in exhibiting at Artists of the Emerald Coast should call or drop by the Mateel office at 59 Rusk Lane in Redway or call 923-3368 for more information about registration.

Admission will be a suggested donation of $20 for adults over 18 and $10 for students 18 and under.
