Celebrate the 100-year anniversary of Tarzan, by Edgar Rice Burroughs at the Mendocino Adventures Ropes course on Sunday, Oct. 28 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Leggett.

The cost is $30 each or $50 a couple. Reservations are required as space is limited. Fee includes all activities, organic snacks, instructions and safety equipment.

This will be a great day for all ages to celebrate their inner Tarzan or Jane while swinging through the lush redwoods of the Mendocino Adventure Ropes Course.

With friendly tribe building games and fantasy jungle tours folks will recreate the elephant powered elevator technique that Tarzan used in his tree house, learn from their jungle guide to safely climb and swing through the trees and finish with a thrill ride on the zip line.

Jungle guides and new friends will then enjoy fresh fruit jungle snacks under the canopy and join in the Tarzan calling contest.

Closed toed shoes required.

The Mendocino Adventure Ropes Course was created in 1995 with impressive greater-community fundraising and volunteer effort and provides coordination and facilitation of challenge courses. They are open to the full spectrum of the community.
