On Thursday, Sept. 20, singer/songwriter and guitarist Frank Lucky will play cover tunes and originals at the Redway Venue. Some of the tunes are reminiscent of The Beatles and early rock and roll. Lucky has a unique style and is an engaging and refreshing performer.
On Friday, Sept. 21, Persimmons offers jazz vocalist Lisa Baney accompanied by piano player Steve Smith, Dobro player Damien Roomets, and drummer Mike Curran. Lisa has been performing jazz for years, and has an extensive repertoire of ballads, bossas, blues and swing tunes.
Persimmons is open from 4 to 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and for special events. Music is from 7 to 10 p.m. Vegetarian and meat dishes, soup, salad, cheese, local wine, desserts, art and gifts available.
