The Humboldt County Democratic Central Committee will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m. at Democratic Headquarters, 129 Fifth Street, Eureka.

After introductions and brief comments by guests, the business of the committee will be conducted. Endorsements for local candidates running for election in November will be on the agenda. Reports will be heard from our reporting sub-committees: community outreach and voter registration, ways and means, campaign services, operations and communications and education.

Local staff will report on the activities of elected Democratic officials including congressman Mike Thompson, State senator Noreen Evans and Assembly member Wes Chesbro.
