This year’s “Sneak Peek” lineup announcement created a huge wave of excitement and event organizers are pleased to announce the full artist lineup scheduled to appear at this year’s 17th Annual Kate Wolf Music Festival [KWMF] - June 29, 30 and July 1, at the beautiful Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville. KWMF is one of Northern California’s most loved summer events and has been called “the best, the single best festival.”

Friday artist lineup: Texas Tornados, Leftover Salmon, The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit, Poor Man’s Whiskey, The Brothers Comatose, Blame Sally, Marcia Ball, Alisa Fineman and Kimball Hurd, Rita Hosking, Achilles Wheel, Brendan Phillips and Fast Rattler, Blushin’ Roulettes, and Under The Radar.

Saturday artist lineup: k.d. lang and the Siss Boom Bang, Bluehouse, The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit, Poor Man’s Whiskey, The Brothers Comatose, Jimmy LaFave, Ruthie Foster, Blame Sally, Justin Townes Earle, Brokedown in Bakersfield, Tim and Nicki Bluhm, Cache Valley Drifters, Teresa Tudury, Rita Hosking, Achilles Wheel, Brendan Phillips and Fast Rattler, MaMuse, Paul Kamm and Eleanore MacDonald, The Sam Chase, and Love Choir.

Sunday artist lineup: Richard Thompson, Bluehouse, Lucinda Williams, Jimmy LaFave, Justin Townes Earle, Loudon Wainwright III, Cache Valley Drifters, Ruth Moody Band, Blame Sally, Alisa Fineman and Kimball Hurd, Lucy Wainwright Roche, Rita Hosking, California Honeydrops, Brendan Phillips and Fast Rattler, MaMuse, Paul Kamm and Eleanore MacDonald, Sherry Austin, and Love Choir. (Final line-up is subject to change.)

The festival is just a three-hour drive north of San Francisco and about two hours south of Arcata. A large stage in the main music meadow plus three other intimate stage areas, workshops, kids’ area, premier onsite camping, food court, music jamming area, and flowing creek all make the annual KWMF a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a weekend with friends, family, and lovers of great music.

Black Oak Ranch is home to the Hog Farm and Camp Winnarainbow - a circus camp for kids - and has hosted many world-class events over the years including Earthdance, the global festival for peace. KWMF has garnered a reputation as a “destination festival” for music lovers with its extensive grounds covering approximately 150 acres. This is a “green festival” and the event is powered by biodiesel generators.

Full three-day festival tickets include camping Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Kids 9 and under are free, but must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. Youth tickets available for kids 10-14 and adult tickets are ages 15 and older.
