Beginnings in Briceland is having a retirement party to celebrate the dedication and diligence of Peter Ryce. After 39 years in his role as executive director at the helm of its community center and schools he has decided to move on to different adventures. Peter has guided many parents and children through their first experiences in school and he will be missed by many.

Please join us at Beginnings on Saturday, June 30 to honor this momentous occasion and community citizen extraordinaire. The party starts at 4 p.m. with a meet and greet. This will be a time to catch up with each other, look at pictures of years past and present, enjoy a glass of wine and some appetizers. At 5 p.m. we will honor Peter with ceremony and stories.

Beginnings will provide barbecue and a no-host bar. The rest of dinner will be a potluck. If your last name begins with an A-F please bring an appetizer, G-L a salad, M-S a side dish and T-Z a dessert.

There will be a videographer on site to record your memories and stories of Peter. We are also putting together a memory journal so if you would like to submit an 8-1/2 x 11 story, memory or picture please bring it with you.
