On Friday, Feb. 19, the Mateel Community Center in Redway will present a variety of “people power” videos for the February edition of the new Mateel film series. The event will feature the world premier of local filmmaker Andy Caffrey’s “Welcome To The Rendezvous,” along with the short films, “Action At Climate Ground Zero” and “The Democratic Promise: Saul Alinsky & His Legacy.”

Doors open at 7 p.m. with the first film starting at 7:30. Admission is free, although a suggested donation of $5 is requested at the door to help cover expenses.
