College of the Redwoods’ Clay Club will host their Winter Ceramics Sale on Wednesday and Thursday, December 3 and 4.

The event will take place at the CR administration building from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on both days and will feature the ceramic work of CR students and faculty in addition to pottery demonstrations by CR students. Ceramic art of all kinds will be present including gas and wood-fired functional wares as well as pots for plants, decorative raku pieces, and sculptural objects.

All of the pieces will be for sale and proceeds will benefit the CR Ceramics and Sculpture department. In the past two years the CR Clay Club, through the sale of student work, has funded the construction of both a new wood-fired anagama kiln and a new raku kiln. The Clay Club also hosts guest artists and lecturers.
