Garberville Rotary members from left to right Nancy Wilson, Craig Parkinson, Syd Lehman, and Susie Mattila prepare to welcome visitors to the Community Credit Union last Friday night during the September Arts Alive. Food prepared by Carolyn Jordan was perfect for the occasion. Brian Walker presented an amazing slide show on Rotary’s Rotoplast Program for which he has volunteered many hours in many different countries. Chris Brannan and Nancy Wilson prepared examples of the many services Rotary performs, including the student foreign exchange program. Miranda residents and San Raphael’s Guide Dogs for the Blind representatives were also in attendance at the event. This is the third dog they have raised for this very worthwhile program.
