On May 6 the 2nd round of 4/6 Putts was played and was won by Ora Swithenbank with 32 putts. Mardis Fulwider was 2nd with 37 putts.
May 13 was Odd or Even day and the winner was NanSea Russ with a 37 score. Ora Swithenbank was 2nd with a 39-1/2 score. Ramona Miller, Lisa Cory and Betty French played 9 holes.
The Daily Play for May 20 was Specks and Betty French won with 31 Specks followed closely by Mardis Fulwider with 30 Specks.
On May 27 Best 4/6 Low Net was played. The winner was NanSea Russ with a 65. Ramona Miller was 2nd with a 74.
The Benbow Women’s Golf Club will host the WGANWC golf tournament on June 10 with women golfers coming from Del Norte, Beau Pre, Baywood, Eureka, Big Foot and Redwood Empire. The Benbow Golf Course will be closed during the tournament.
Regular play will resume on Tuesday, June 17, with the 3rd round of 4/6 Putts. Tee off time is at 10 a.m. Women golfers are welcome to come join us.
