MIRANDA - St. Bernard’s steamrolled South Fork in a road twinbill, winning 19-0 and 18-1.

In game one Josh Black went 3-for-4 and David Del Grande contributed two hits to spark the visitors, while Josh Genevro and Andrew Ayers combined on a two-hitter.

Jared Morris and Mack Goodman had the two hits for the Cubs, who walked 15 Crusaders.

In the second game, Doyle Coyne had the only hit for South Fork, who committed 10 errors.

Genevro had three hits, including a triple, and five RBIs while Eli Adams also whacked three hits, including a pair of doubles.

Black, Del Grande and Ayers combined for the victory, which improved St. Bernard’s to 6-0 in the Little 4, 13-2 overall, heading into their doubleheader at Hoopa Valley this Thursday.

The Cubs fell to 0-6, 1-8, and will play next on Saturday, May 3, when they host Ferndale.
