The Humboldt County Elections Office released updated June 3 primary results on Tuesday, but nothing has changed.

Incumbent 4th District Supervisor Virginia Bass still holds a lead over challenger Chris Kerrigan in the election's closest race. Bass garnered 52 percent of the vote in the unofficial results, while Kerrigan received 47 percent. A total of 235 votes separate them.

According to the post election update, Measure N, a school bond measure in Southern Humboldt, was narrowly defeated. About 54 percent of voters voted in favor of the measure, while approximately 45 voted no. The measure needed 55 percent of the vote to pass.

Official results are due to the state by July 1.
