She loved gardening, cleaning, music, science fiction, computer games, television, and cats. Wherever she lived, the yard soon filled with flowers of every size and description.
Her favorite musicians included Kate Wolf, Buddy Holly, and Chuck Berry. She played a steel string guitar given to her by her friend, Sheila Hahn, and sang folk and blues songs.
For about ten years, Nancy enjoyed working as a home health care provider, cleaning homes and providing other needed services to the elderly or handicapped.
She died in her sleep the night of January 10, 2013. She was 57. She is survived by her four children, Melinda, Ella, Ian (Ina), and Russell; and three grandchildren, Troy (T.J.), Hazel, and Lola.
We’ll be having a memorial for her sometime later this spring, when the weather gets nice and the flowers are blooming.
