South Fork’s JV boys got a sweet win over Hoopa Valley at home Friday night 65-61 in an offensive romp that sent sophomore Cole Moody to the line eleven times to cash in for 18 free throws among his team leading 25 total points.

Sophomore Grant Wick pumped in 22 points of his own as the Cubs could never really relax having fallen to Hoopa twice before this season. Sophomore Eli Kahan and freshman Kevin Vandenack had 5 points apiece, sophomore Kyle Valk had 4 and sophomore Cale Lehman had two.

South Fork looked in comfortable command with a 9-point halftime lead, but the Warriors would not go away and clawed their way to a one-point 3rd quarter lead of 45-44. But Moody was an astonishing 14 for 16 from the line in the 4th quarter to put South Fork on top for the win.
