Soroptimist International of the Redwoods held a lighted parade for the seventh year in a row. The group of lighted floats and vehicles traveled first to Redway and then south to Garberville. Although the weather was rainy as it has been in year’s past this annual event is a welcome tradition and one that we hope will continue for years to come.

Parade Winners

Big Rig: 1st - GR Wilcox Enterprises, 2nd - Redway Fire Dept., 3rd - Steve Burns of Leggett

Auto/Truck: 1st - Redway Community Services Dist., 2nd - Derek Brewer

Truck/Auto w/trailer: 1st - tie between Gary Futrell of The Cuttings and the Garberville Pilots Association, 2nd - Garberville Lions
