Humboldt County Teen Court (a program of the Boys & Girls Club) is hosting a training for new teen volunteers in grade 8-12 on Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Teen Center, 3015 J Street (on the corner of J and Harris streets) in Eureka. Teens from anywhere in Humboldt County are invited.

Teen Court is a real court administered by teens for teens who have chosen to have their cases heard by their peers. Student volunteers are sought to serve in the courtroom as jurors, attorneys, and other positions. Volunteers get community service hours, help give other teens a second chance, and learn new skills.
