On July 29, 2012 at approximately 7 p.m., a 2002 Ford F-150 traveling southbound on Thomas Road south of Salmon Creek Road left the roadway. The vehicle went down the embankment and struck several trees.

The driver, who was the solo occupant, sustained fatal injuries. Release on the identification of the driver is pending confirmation and notification to the next of kin.
