The Eureka Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating 61-year old John Allen Knott who was reported as missing by his family on June 26. John Knott was last seen in Eureka area approximately two or three weeks ago.

Knott is described as being a white male adult, medium brown hair, hazel eyes, approximately 6'0” tall and 150 lbs.

He told friends that he was going to a nearby, unknown lake. Knott is known to lead a transient lifestyle.
