April 20, 1965 - June 9, 2012

Jim was an exceptionally good man who put his heart into everything he did. He cared about people and was ready to help with whatever was needed. He was a man of his word. He was well-loved and will be sorely missed by many. He will always be remembered for his love of Humboldt County, motorcycles, motorcycle racing, his many dogs over the years and fishing.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Michelle Fredericks of Las Vegas, NV; fiancé, Lynn Harrington of Redway, CA; parents, Pam and Stan Fish of Linden, CA; sister, Dana Fish; nephews, Nikolas and Damon Taylor; niece, Alexis Kitt of Marysville, WA; and his loving hound, “Buddy”.

Jim attended elementary, junior high and high school in Everett, WA, then moved to Humboldt County, fell in love with the area and never left. His many years working in the construction and hardware business made him a friend and familiar face to many.

A memorial will be held at the Mateel Community Center, 59 Rusk Lane, Redway, on Wednesday, June 20, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Please come and share your stories with and about Jim.
