On May 9, 2012, Lindy Cooke, former Piercy and Redway resident, died in her home in Santa Rosa after a long battle with cancer.

She is survived by her father, Jim; brothers, Clay and Chris; son, Andrew Cooke-Hedin; and numerous friends.

A memorial in Piercy will be held this summer in July.
