The Southern Humboldt branch of Mattole Valley Charter High School (MVCHS), is accepting new students, grades nine through twelve, for the 2012-13 school year. We offer the full range of high school courses and are a fully accredited, WASC certified, high school.

Through MVCHS students can design their own schedule, including the core academic subjects, and electives from many talented community members, such as yoga with Gayna Uransky, art with Judy Evenson or Spanish with Leann Green.

We also offer math classes with retired veteran math teacher Patti Anderson. Diane Richardson tutors some of our students and provides math instruction to others. Students can also take on-line courses through MVCHS, UC Berkeley, K12, or other online schools.

Students meet with their teachers weekly to receive and turn in assignments, and get any help and instruction they may need. The educational programs are completely personalized to insure student success.
