Local artists will include elements such as glass, wood, metal and fire mediums. A range of food, beer and wine choices will be available as well as vendors with various festival related items. Later in the evening, enjoy outdoor performances from The Mischief Lab Fire Dance and Aerial show. End your 4/20 in the evening with indoor burlesque and dance performances.
The Mischief Lab is dedicated to bringing all types of people together for the mutual love of fire. Therefore, it is fitting that the Mischief Lab presents Fire Fusion 4/20 for Southern Humboldt’s 4/20 event. The Mischief Lab was formed in Summer of 2010 and is based in Arcata at 1041 F. Street.
What began as a collaboration of fire spinners, aerial silk artists, stage performers and propane combustion artists has blossomed into a non-profit multi-art production company. The Mischief Lab has produced and coordinated local shows such as the Southern Humboldt’s Save Our School’s Fundraiser Fire Fusion Friday 2011, Humboldt Art’s Festival 2011 in Arcata, Burning Bush 2011 at Dean Creek Resort in Redway, the city of Arcata’s Fourth of July 2011 Fire Show at the Humboldt Crab’s Stadium, Burning Bush 2010 fundraiser at Palo Verde Volunteer Fire Department, Garberville’s Redwood Run 2011 events, as well as an ever-continuous fire performance presence at Art’s Arcata.
Now with the backing of The Ink People and a long list of spectacular and professional show history, The Mischief Lab is preparing for exciting and new show venues, such as Fire Fusion 4/20 and the upcoming Redwood Acres Humboldt Made Fair 2012.
