The Six Rivers Planned Parenthood Advocates for Choice are challenging you to a game of kickball at Can I Kick It? on Sunday September 18 at the Arcata Community Center. Do you want to play kickball and support reproductive health care and education on the Northcoast? Now you can. All you have to do is gather nine of your friends to form a kickball team and sign up online at www.srpp.org. Next go out into the world and get sponsorships and donations to support Six Rivers Planned Parenthood. Fun prizes will be awarded to the teams who raise the most money. Then come up with a theme for your team and come in costume to the Arcata Community Center on Sunday, September 18 to get down and play some kickball.

Six Rivers Planned Parenthood is a local nonprofit that has been providing reproductive health care and sexuality education in Humboldt, Trinity and Del Norte Counties since 1975. More than 90% of their services are preventative, including life-saving cancer screenings, STI testing and treatment, contraception and education. SRPP’s doors are open to everyone regardless of personal circumstances or ability to pay. Money raised at Can I Kick It? will go to provide lifesaving health services for over 9,000 patients and sexual health education for 4,200 teens and parents each year.

For more information about team registration and getting started visit www.srpp.org, follow Six Rivers Planned Parenthood on facebook, or call (707) 442-2961. Let’s play ball.
