Kiwanis Club of the Redwoods hosted their annual Toys for Tots biker run on Sunday, December 13. The weather couldn’t have been nicer for a run down the Avenue of the Giants.
The Kiwanis Club members would like to thank all of their sponsors and raffle contributors who participated in this year’s toy drive. They would also like to thank the Riverwood Inn in Phillipsville for hosting the event once again.
The toys were handed out at the Vets Hall on Saturday, December 12 and anyone who was unable to make it in to get their toys can pick them up at Earp’s 76 in Garberville.
A very special thanks goes out to Roberto and Cathy Newman who as always did a superior job at organizing this event. Thank you also to John Earp and Casey Young for their yummy cooking.
Kiwanis of the Redwoods is always looking for new members. Please come check us out on the second or fourth Wednesday of the month at the Healy Senior Center at 6:30 p.m., or feel free to contact Danielle Whitmore at 223-2553 for information on how to join.
