A great performance by junior Bree Miller and a tenacious, determined effort by the entire team went for naught as the South Fork girls varsity basketball team bowed to the St. Bernard Crusaders Friday night, 62-50.   Full Story
 
Jared Lack was South Fork High School’s lone participant in last weekend’s Willits wrestling tournament, which included athletes from twelve area schools. Lack was dominant in the 114-pound class, winning all three of his matches to bring home first place honors.   Full Story

The multi-day permits require the trip to be continuous and to extend for a period of 12 hours or more on the first and last days of the trip, and berthing or docking within five miles of the mainland shore is prohibited.   Full Story
 
By Kevin Caldwell The South Fork boy’s varsity team gave the St. Bernard Crusaders all they could handle last Thursday night in Eureka. However, at the end the Crusaders pulled it out, beating the Cubs 54-52 on their home court.   Full Story
 
St. Bernard’s junior varsity boys basketball team used strong second and third period play to defeat the South Fork Cubs, 41-31, Thursday night in Eureka. Poor shooting, especially at the free throw line, again hurt the young Cubs.   Full Story

By Kevin Caldwell Fortuna - The boys’ varsity was on the road again, this time playing the Fortuna Huskies last Friday night. Fortuna’s tough defense led them to a 50-33 win. The Cub’s were 4 for 9 shooting in the first quarter, but were still down 14-11.   Full Story
 
By Kevin Caldwell Ferndale - The South Fork boys’ varsity team traveled to Ferndale last Tuesday and got spanked by the Wildcats losing 56-40. Ferndale jumped out of the gate quickly, getting a number of easy baskets in the paint.   Full Story
